Job description:
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee production operations
.
You will guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. In a fast-paced environment like production, the supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations. You should be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.
Responsibilities- Ensure the production line employees produce quality windows in a timely manner
- Maintain a teamwork environment with production line workers
- Improve line efficiency using lean manufacturing principals
- Ensure the safe use of equipment
- Check production output according to specifications
- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery
- Maintain a team relationship with all levels of management including other supervisors
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed and maintained
- Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role preferred
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Computer Experience
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach - Problem-solving skills

Previous glass handling/manufacturing experience required
Physical Demands:Ability to stand for extended periods (typically 8-hour shifts).
Ability to lift and carry materials, typically up to 50 pounds.
Requires bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
