Job Overview
Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU – Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide post anesthesia care to patients in the PACU.
- Work night shifts (19:00–07:30) in 3‑12‑hour cycles.
- Document care using the required charting system.
- Perform advanced cardiac, ventilator, and pain‑management procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams such as IV, respiratory, and rapid response units.
- RN license: valid Ohio compact or state license.
- Minimum 2 years charge RN experience (preferred).
- Trauma Level I experience preferred;
Level II experience acceptable. - Travel nursing experience required.
- Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. - Skills:
bariatrics, blood‑product administration, cardiology, ventilated‑patient care, central line care, sedation, dysrhythmia management, ENT, external ventricular drain, general, gynecologic, ICP monitoring, MAC, narcotics, nerve blocks, neuro, ophthalmology, orthopedic, pain assessment, PCA pump management, phase I PACU, post‑epidural management, RASS, reversal agents, spinal, vascular unit.
36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts, 13‑week contract, starting July 27, 2026.
Pay based on 12‑hour shifts; tax‑free stipend to be determined. Parking options available at Wexner Medical Center and surrounding facilities.

Travel compliance: candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly. Reference requirements: 2 professional references, one manager/director and one charge RN. Recent former employees eligible after 6 months out; current employees not eligible. RTO required with submission.
