Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge, competency, and clinical expertise in oncology infusion therapy
- Regularly administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, antineoplastics agents, hazardous drugs, and targeted therapies
- Provides relationship‑based patient‑centered care
- Coordinates the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing‑Preferred
- RN
- Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN‑COMPACT - RN
- Multi‑state Compact - BLS
- Basic Life Support or ARC‑BLS
- Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS‑I
- Basic Life Support
- Instructor - Chemotherapy Competency required through approved provider [Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or Well Star Oncology Nursing Readiness and Safety (ONRS)]
Demonstrates clinical expertise in oncology infusion therapy, including the administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, while providing patient‑centered care and ensuring the delivery of safe quality patient care.
