Job Duties
  • Assess and evaluate nursing/medical needs of patients
  • Initiate and direct implementation of the nursing care plan
  • Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior and condition
  • Administer medications and treatment as ordered by the physician
  • Assist with physical examinations
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Direct delivery of and evaluate psychiatric/nursing care of patients delivered by professional and nonprofessional staff
  • Prepare, review, implement and update records/reports/plans
  • Serve as an interdisciplinary treatment team member

Hourly position covered by the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 bargaining unit (union). Pay range: 13 on the Ohio Health Care SEIU/1199 Pay Range Schedule. The position is located at 1756 Sagamore Road, Northfield, Ohio.

Days include every weekend 7:00 pm‑7:30 am, Friday and Saturday, and one weekday shift for a total of 72 hours bi‑weekly.

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Additional Salary / Appointment Information
  • Additional $1.50 per hour shift differential for hours worked from 3:00 pm‑7:00 am
  • Additional $3.60 per hour retention supplement for hours worked from 3:00 pm‑7:00 am
  • Additional $3.96 per hour retention supplement for 72‑hour float position
  • Additional hourly retention supplements available for education and certifications
  • Longevity supplement at 5 years of service
  • Service supplement 2% at 12‑24 months; 4% at 25‑48 months; and 5% at 49 plus months
