Role
Critical Care Registered Nurse in a Step Down Unit, providing specialized patient care for conditions such as congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis.
ResponsibilitiesUtilize advanced technology including telemetry monitoring, patient lifts, and virtual whiteboards. Perform EKG interpretation, manage central lines, and assist with bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies. Demonstrate critical thinking, delegate tasks, and effectively manage time while collaborating with Nursing Assistants, Interns, providers, PT, and OT.
QualificationsGraduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in Ohio, BLS certification (within 90 days), ACLS certification (within 6 months), and at least 1 year of relevant RN experience if PRN. All certifications must be obtained upon hire.
Preferred SkillsBSN degree and professional certification recognized by the Magnet designation.
