Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and fosters a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are grounded in evidence-based research, hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to make clinical decisions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
Responsibilities include conducting nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments; facilitating admissions, transfers, and discharges; providing patient and family-centered education; and coordinating individualized treatment plans.
Required Qualifications:
- ADN or ASN degree.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification and Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation.
- No prior experience required.
- Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.
- BSN degree.
- Previous nursing experience.
