Heidelberg Materials is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
** QC Tech
** to support quality assurance initiatives across aggregate operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while partnering closely with operations, sales, and external stakeholders.##
** What You'll Be Doing
*** Perform quality control testing and sampling of aggregate products at production sites and customer locations.
* Analyze test results, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings to support product quality and compliance.
* Coordinate and oversee quality assurance activities while promoting adherence to testing standards and procedures.
* Collaborate with operations and sales teams to address quality concerns and support customer satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.##
** What Are We Looking For
*** Demonstrated knowledge of aggregate testing methods, quality control practices, and regulatory requirements.
* Ability to obtain and maintain relevant industry or state certifications as required.
* Strong technical aptitude with the ability to use testing equipment, technology, and data management systems.
* Effective communication and relationship-building skills for working with customers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
* Self-motivated professional with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.##
** Work Environment
*** Work is performed in laboratory, quarry, plant, and outdoor job site environments.
* Regular lifting, material sampling, standing, walking, and climbing may be required.
* Exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and moving equipment is expected.
* Occasional overtime and travel between operational and customer locations may be required.##
