Shift3rd shift: 11pm to 7am Tuesday through Saturday
Role ObjectiveProvides routine and non-routine analytical testing and problem solving to support Supply Chain, Global Quality, and Research and Development (R&D).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Maintains a safe working environment; follows all safety procedures and protocols
- Performs testing to ensure the quality of incoming materials and manufactured goods
- Provides accurate and timely communication of test results
- Maintains system of testing, analysis and results
- Participates in activities as assigned to improve a product or process or in response to customer complaints
- Performs and/or provides support for process validation
- Performs and/or provides support for R&D, QA, Contract Manufacturing, and Supply Chain
- Maintains good housekeeping in work areas and performs assigned cleaning tasks
- Ensures hazardous wastes and other samples are properly contained and disposed of in accordance with policies and procedures
- Maintains laboratory supply inventory
- Washes and maintains glassware
- Sets up, adjusts, calibrates, cleans, maintains, and troubleshoots laboratory equipment
- Communicates verbally and via email and Teams messages, addressing quality issues, supports investigations
- Responsible for sampling water to prepare for analyses
- Analyze cleaning validation samples submitted to the labs
- Collects and analyzes water samples representative of those used for manufacturing product, research and development, and cleaning validation
- Minimum of two (2) years of scientific education, prefer one year of college chemistry or biology and/or two (2) year work experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control or in a GMP-manufacturing environment.
- Chemistry and laboratory background highly preferred
- Knowledge of analytical instrumentation
Direct Manufacturing/Distribution - 100% On-Site
Travel RequirementsTravel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as needed

Compensation & BenefitsThe starting pay rate for this role is $24.52 per hour. In addition to base pay, all GOJO team members are bonus eligible. Benefits include 401(k) match, parental leave, and onsite well-being care.
