Postdoctoral Research Associate – Lee
Position Summary:
Postdoctoral Research Associate will support a diverse portfolio of federally and globally funded research projects focused on behavioral health, health equity, digital health interventions, community-engaged research, and nonprofit and social service systems. The Associate will work under the supervision of Dr. Hee Yun Lee, Thomas P. Holland Distinguished Professor, Associate Dean for Research, and Director of the Institute of Nonprofit Organizations (INPO), contributing to research, grant development, program implementation, data analysis, scholarly dissemination, and administrative activities supporting the INPO and the School of Social Work’s Office of Research.
Research Project Management and Implementation
- Manage and coordinate federally and globally funded research projects.
- Assist with study design, protocol implementation, participant recruitment, data collection, data analysis, and project monitoring.
- Coordinate communication among investigators, community partners, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with IRB, sponsor, and university requirements.
Percentage of time: 20%
Grant Development and Scholarly Dissemination- Prepare, submit, and revise manuscripts for peer‑reviewed journals.
- Assist with the development and submission of grant proposals and progress reports.
- Conduct literature reviews and environmental scans to support ongoing research initiatives.
- Contribute to dissemination activities targeting academic, community, and policy audiences, and prepare and submit conference abstracts for presentations.
Percentage of time: 20%
Data Management and Analysis- Collect, organize, manage, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
- Utilize statistical and qualitative software programs to support research activities.
- Prepare data reports, tables, figures, and summaries for manuscripts, presentations, and grant applications.
- Support evaluation and outcomes assessment activities across multiple projects.

Global Engagement and International Collaboration- Support international research and educational collaborations with university partners in South Korea and other countries.
- Assist with planning and coordination of global exchange programs, visiting scholars, and collaborative research initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of international grant proposals and research partnerships.
Percentage of time: 20%
Administrative and Research Infrastructure Support- Support administrative activities associated with the Institute for Nonprofit Organizations (INPO).
- Support research development activities through the School of Social Work Office of Research.
- Assist with research coordination, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and project documentation.
