This position is responsible for:

Key responsibilities:

• Run the register and credit card machine
• Arrange items in the store as needed and keeping the area neat
• Working in the sorting room accepting donations, sorting, hanging and tagging

Other responsibilities:

• May assist in answering the telephone; provides general information and records messages.
• May assist in preparing receipts for donations.
• Other responsibilities as required

Physical Requirements and

Working Conditions:

• Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
• Ability to operate a cash register. Ability to perform routine mathematical computations and count change.
• Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy (25-50lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment. Moderate mobility: duties are usually performed by a combination of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or G.E.D. AND: experience working in a retail store preferred, OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Licenses and
