Position Summary

This role leads sales engagement with Woodward’s strategic Engine OEM accounts. The strategic member collaborates with external and internal stakeholders to optimize key customer relationships for Woodward. Strong communication and coordination between Woodward Sales, Marketing, Program Management, Engineering, and Senior Leadership are essential to drive strategic outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
  • Ensure new product designs, strategic proposals, and existing program commitments are executed with customers via internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations of the Sales Manager team to ensure high productivity and engagement.
  • Develop, coach, and conduct performance appraisals for Sales team members, guiding them through complex sales challenges and innovative solutions.
  • Track and analyze sales metrics to assess performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Adapt sales plans and priorities to address resource and market challenges, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key clients and Woodward to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Execute customer game boards, heatmaps, and engagement action plans.
