Armed Alarm Response Officer Job Richmond area,Kentucky USA,Security

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and experienced Armed Alarm Response Officer to join our team in the Medina, Ohio area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in armed security, law enforcement, or military police and be capable of responding professionally to alarm activations while maintaining a high standard of safety, judgment, and customer service.

Position Responsibilities:

Respond to alarm activations and security-related calls
Conduct security checks and investigate alarm conditions in accordance with company procedures
Maintain a professional and visible security presence
Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and emergency personnel when appropriate
Complete accurate incident reports and other required documentation
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable laws and regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

Current Ohio 20-hour firearms training/certification as required for armed private security employment
124-hour Ohio private security academy certificate
At least 5 years of documented experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military police
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Reliable transportation to and from assigned patrol vehicle
Well-groomed, professional appearance appropriate for a security officer representing the company and its clients
Must be able to meet the physical fitness requirements necessary to safely perform the essential duties of the position, including responding to alarm calls and conducting security checks
Professional communication skills, sound judgment, and a strong work ethic
Ability to successfully complete all required background and employment screening
