Electronic Technician - Repairs

Work Arrangement:

As an Electronic Technician at Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, retrofitting, testing, and aligning integrated cosite equipment (ICE) systems and subsystems.
Primary Responsibilities- Setup and perform technical electronic test functions with the assistance of other technicians and written procedures.
- Troubleshoot system performance to the module and circuit card component level.
- Perform mechanical assembly such as installing covers, cables, or replacing modules to meet specifications.
- Conduct module-level troubleshooting and repair of RF cosite subsystems.
- Use schematics, PCB/PWB layouts, mechanical drawings, and work instructions.
- Operate oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and automated test sets.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficient use of common RF test equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of power amplifiers, synthesizers, power supplies, digital control circuitry, and RF filter principles (bandwidth, Q, insertion loss, return loss), including advanced filter alignment.
- PC skills for data entry and test software.
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot simple circuits.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and network analyzers.
- Effective communication with internal and external customers.
- Collaboration with all organizational levels.
- High attention to detail.
- Reading drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to obtain IPC‑610 certification.
- Must be a U.S. person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2‑year degree in an electronics field preferred.
- Minimum 4–6 years of RF‑related technician experience required.
- Knowledge of J‑STD‑0801 preferred; ability to obtain certification in this standard once employed.
