Job Summary/Basic FunctionsWorks directly with the Electric Shop Supervisor on a daily basis and with the MEP Manager as needed, to assure that all University electrical systems operate at the highest efficiency.
Minimum QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Training and experience acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience in the electrical field.

Job Duties- 50% - 1. Assists Electrician or Master electricians in performing routine maintenance on University electrical systems.
- 20% - 2. Performs routine maintenance on university electrical equipment as required by established procedures.
- 15% - 3. Assists in inventory control of required repair parts and tools as outlined in established procedures.
- 15% - 4. Assists in time keeping, blueprint takeoffs, material lists and acquisition as required.
- 5% - 5. Supports the smooth and efficient operations of the department and the University.
