Lead Mechanic

• Role:
  Directs the maintenance shop and performs advanced repairs on the city's fleet of heavy equipment, sanitation trucks, and street utility vehicles.
• Key Duties:
  
  Diagnoses and repairs diesel and gas engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components; supervises and trains maintenance technicians; manages parts inventory and purchasing; and maintains detailed service and safety records within the city's fleet software program.
