The Electrician Assistant works directly with the electric shop supervisor on a daily basis and with the assistant director as need arises to assure that all university electrical systems operate at the highest efficiency.

  High School Diploma or GED
• Experience:
  
  One year of previous and directly related experience
• Licensure &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current Kentucky Driver's License

• 10% - Supports the smooth and efficient operations of the department and the University.

• 60% - Assists Electrician or Master electricians in performing routine maintenance on University electrical systems -(Essential)
• 10% - Leads Laborers in performing routine maintenance on university electrical equipment as required by established procedures.

• 10% - Assists in inventory control of required repair parts andtools as outlined in established procedures.
  
  - (Essential)
• 10% - Assists in time keeping, blueprint takeoffs, material lists and acquisition as required.
