Butler County Regional Transit Authority is seeking passionate drivers to operate our coaches and cutaway vehicles across Butler County, Ohio. All driving positions start at $20.00 per hour, with annual merit‑based raises; experienced transit or passenger transportation professionals with recent employment verification may earn up to $24.60 per hour.
We provide paid training and a 14% retirement match. Part‑time employees are not eligible for employer‑sponsored health insurance or other full‑time benefits. Full‑time employees (if applicable) receive medical, dental, vision, short‑term disability, life insurance, and up to 29 paid days off in the first year.
Responsibilities- Safely operate the vehicle without distractions.
- Take excellent care of passengers.
- Work independently without a supervisor’s oversight.
- Follow directions and enforce rules.
- Learn to use technology such as tablets, apps, and the internet; we provide training.
- Be punctual.
- Pass a DOT drug screen.
- Pass a DOT physical.
- Pass a state and national background check.
- Maintain a clean driving record (less than 4 points).
- Hold a Class A or B CDL with a passenger endorsement (required).
