For 34 years, Tristar has been Central Ohio's trusted special needs transportation company. We're a family-run business with a collaborative, fast-paced team - and we're looking for compassionate drivers to safely transport students and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Role:

This is a PART-TIME, year-round position working a split shift Monday-Friday from home, averaging 25-30 hours/week. You'll drive a small route transporting children to/from school using a company vehicle.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Pick up and drop off students/clients safely and on time via a route app
• Check vehicle equipment before each shift (gas card, car seats, first aid kit, cell phone, etc.)
• Maintain student safety and behavior in the vehicle
• Communicate with the office and log time electronically

Requirements:

• Valid Ohio driver's license (NO CDL required)
• Must be 25+ with a clean driving record
• Strong defensive driving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Empathy and experience (or comfort) working with special needs individuals
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical - all paid by Tristar
• Must meet ODE driver credentialing requirements
