At Prosper-Tech Machine & Tool
, CNC Machinists play a key role in producing small-batch, high-precision components. The shop is expanding its team to support a strong pipeline of work in 2026 and beyond.
In this role, you will:
- Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts
- Make tool offsets, load tools, and perform tool changes
- Run repeat and production jobs with increasing independence
- Follow work instructions and contribute to process improvements
- Perform in-process inspection using hand measuring tools
- Deburr, clean, and prepare parts as needed
- Work within ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality standards
- Communicate with machinists, quality, and leadership as needed
As you grow in the role, you may take on setup, programming, and process ownership responsibilities.
Machines, Controls & SoftwareYou’ll work with equipment such as:
- Machines: CNC Mills (Brother, Haas), CNC Lathes
- Controls: Fanuc
- CAM Software: (Exposure depending on level)
- Inspection Tools: Micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators
- Aluminum
- Stainless Steel
- Titanium
- Inconel
- Aerospace-grade alloys
Required:
- Entry to 6+ years of CNC machining experience (level-based)
- Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes
- Ability to read blueprints and understand basic tolerances
- Familiarity with hand inspection tools (mics, calipers, gauges)
- Ability to make offsets and run jobs with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented
- Experience with Fanuc controls
- Experience with Haas or Brother machines
- Setup experience (tooling, offsets, first-piece inspection)
- Programming exposure (higher levels)
- Aerospace or medical machining experience
Pay Range:
- 1st Shift: $18 – $26/hr
- 2nd Shift: $20 – $28/hr
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Overtime: Available as needed (1.5x pay)
