Richmond Family Clinic is an independently owned family medicine practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages. We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant, CNA, or LPN to join our team.
Work Schedule:
Enjoy a consistent four‑day workweek, with every Thursday off. Clinic hours are Monday‑Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday mornings are shared among the team. We strive to schedule Saturday coverage fairly, and most employees work approximately 1‑2 Saturdays per month; however, additional Saturday shifts may occasionally be required to accommodate staffing needs.
This position is ideal for a dependable healthcare professional who enjoys building long‑term relationships with patients and thrives in a fast‑paced primary care environment. We are looking for someone who can confidently room patients, perform phlebotomy, administer injections, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities- Prepare patient charts and review upcoming appointments prior to each clinic day.
- Room patients, obtain and accurately document vital signs, medical history updates, medications, allergies, and chief complaints in the electronic medical record.
- Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens.
- Administer injections and assist with in‑office procedures.
- Assist the physician and nurse practitioners during examinations and minor procedures.
- Process prescription refill requests and communicate laboratory and diagnostic results as directed by the provider.
- Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow‑up care.
- Maintain exam rooms by stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and preparing rooms between patients.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies.
- Answer telephone calls professionally, address patient questions appropriately, and assist with scheduling or directing patient concerns.
- Work collaboratively with providers and fellow staff members to ensure excellent patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Required:
- Current Medical Assistant, CNA, or LPN credential.
- Previous experience working in a physician office or outpatient medical clinic.
- Experience performing venipuncture/phlebotomy.
- Comfortable administering injections.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn electronic medical record software.
Preferred:
- Previous family practice or primary care experience.
- Experience with electronic medical records.
- Ability to work independently with minimal training.
- Reliable with excellent attendance.
- Compassionate and patient‑focused.

- Able to prioritize tasks and remain organized in a busy clinic.
