Description:
Locals are eligible to apply.
First-time travelers are welcome.
Block scheduling is allowed unless staffing gaps need to be filled, in which case all staff are open to balancing.
Weekends are required every other week, sometimes every third week depending on staffing needs.
Call is not required.
Floating is not required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience is needed.
Certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, with TNCC preferred.
Skills required include various Emergency Department competencies.
The ratio of patients to nurses is 1:4.The emergency unit caters to a diverse range of patient age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Daily visits in the unit are approximately 15.The patient care team includes interdisciplinary support from various services.
Nurses should expect to work some holidays and weekends as required.
Requests for time off should be stated during submission covers.
Nurses must present their license prior to starting the position.
Charting experience is preferred but not required.
Clinical experiences will guide rotating floating if applicable.
