American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and a MO or compact RN license.
Details- Work in a combined adult/pediatric general Emergency Department setting
- 1:4 patient ratio
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7p-7a)
- Every other weekend required, occasionally every third weekend based on staffing balance
- No call requirements
- No floating required
- EPIC EMR used, experience preferred but not required
- Self-scheduling with block scheduling allowed unless staffing gaps require balancing
- Active RN license (MO or Compact) required at time of consideration, must be in-hand prior to start
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required; TNCC preferred
- 2+ years of ED nursing experience required
- ED-related clinical skills required, including trauma, cardiac monitoring, respiratory, and neurological care
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
- Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of conditions including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, pediatric, and psychiatric cases
- Skilled in triage, isolation precautions/PPE, and managing violent or psychiatric behavior
- Floating to other units may occur in rotation with staff, with appropriate orientation provided
- Any scrub color is allowed
- Expect to work some holidays
