CNC Machine Operator – Lathes & Mills

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join a well-established, family-owned manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has hands-on experience machining metal components and is comfortable working with both CNC lathes and mills.

Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to manufacture metal components

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications

Load materials and properly position work pieces for machining

Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and accuracy

Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect finished parts

Monitor machines throughout the production process

Perform routine quality checks and identify machining or tooling issues

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Work closely with other machinists and team members to meet production goals

Requirements

Previous CNC machining experience is required

Experience working with metal is required

Hands-on experience with both CNC lathes and mills is required

Ability to read blueprints and understand machining specifications

Experience using precision measuring instruments

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Dependable with a strong work ethic

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
