* Research and Track funding opportunities aligned with Fort Bend County Behavioral Health Services mission.
* Lead and manage the development of grant applications, renewals and amendments.
* Tracks Final date to receive applicationss, submission and reporting requirements.
* Develop and maintain data tracking tools, reports and dashboards to monitor performance measures.
* Compiles data, prepares and submits reports as required to fulfill grant/project conditions.
* Prepare reports regarding performance measures.
* Organize and present data findings in clear written summaries to stakeholders and Fort Bend County leadership.
* Assist in the development of grant program policies and procedures.
* Collaborate and facilitate communication with internal and external partners.
* Participates in program planning and evaluation activities. Develops and maintains project documentation and progress reports.
* Submits periodic grant and project reports to local, state, and federal agencies as required by grant guidance as well as other relevant stakeholders.
* Assists with the development and submission of purchasing requisitions for grant projects.
* Develops specifications for purchases of equipment and services required for grant-funded projects.
* Provides assistance and coordination between local, state, and federal agencies to ensure grant compliance and audit compliance.
* Attends local and regional meetings involving grant/project management / data reporting / program evaluation and administration.
* Utilizes grant and project management systems to develop, submit, document, and close-out grant projects.
* Maintains documentation as needed to support deliverables in compliance with federal, state and county requirements.
* Engages in continuous quality improvement to improve outcomes and deliverables.
* Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
** MINIMUM
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Business Administration, Criminal Justice Management, Accounting, Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Mathematics, or related field.
* Three (3) years of job-related experience in grant coordination, program analysis, and data analysis. Experience working in the field of behavioral health or human services.
* Knowledge of the intersection between behavioral health services and the justice system and the impact on system and individuals.
* Applied understanding of statistics, data analysis, data reporting and interpretation.
* Ability to work with individuals who have been incarcerated and/or with mental health conditions;
Knowledge of the intersection between behavioral health services and the justice system and the impact on system and individuals.
* Knowledge of charitable foundation, state and federal grant systems required.
* Grant writing experience;
Data analytics skills;
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
* Basic accounting and auditing ability.
* Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees and elected officials.
* Experience meeting deadlines is critical.
** STARTING SALARY RANGE:** $28.80 - $36.00 hourly based on qualifications
