Position Summary

The Lifestyle Director is responsible for developing, implementing, promoting, and evaluating a comprehensive lifestyle program that enhances resident engagement and fosters a vibrant community culture.

Responsibilities
  • Community Programming and Resident Engagement
    • Develop and execute an annual lifestyle and recreation calendar.
    • Plan signature events, educational programs, wellness activities, and social gatherings.
    • Monitor resident engagement and participation levels.
  • Event Planning and Execution
    • Coordinate all aspects of community events including planning, logistics, budgeting, vendors, and sponsor ships.
    • Track attendance, participation, and resident feedback.
    • Document and photograph community events.
  • Community Communications and Marketing
    • Manage newsletters, website content, social media, and promotional materials.
    • Develop event marketing campaigns and resident communications.
  • Amenity Center and Facility Operations
    • Oversee daily operations of the amenity center and recreational facilities.
    • Coordinate facility reservations, rentals, and scheduling.
  • Clubs, Committees, and Volunteer Programs
    • Support resident clubs, committees, and interest groups.
    • Recruit, train, and support volunteers.
    • Serve as liaison between resident groups and management.
  • Budget Administration and Reporting
    • Develop and administer the annual lifestyle budget.
    • Monitor revenues, sponsorship income, and expenditures.
    • Prepare reports for management and the Board.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Strong event planning and project management skills.
    • Strong networking and sales skills to effectively secure and maintain sponsor ships with local businesses.
    • Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum three years of professional experience in event planning, recreation, hospitality, public relations, or community engagement.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of HOA lifestyle management experience for a large-scale, master-planned community association.
  • Experience managing volunteers and community committees.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach as needed.
  • Ability to lift or move objects up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies).
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Visual acuity to read printed materials, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
  • Hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in virtual meetings.
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Ability to work a standard schedule, with occasional extended hours as required.
Pay and Benefits

$65,000 – $75,000 per year (depending on education and experience)
