Essential Qualifications and

Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential or license (as required by state regulations)
  • Experience working within K-12 schools preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to interpret assessment data and develop data-driven recommendations
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in school psychology

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic assessments to identify student strengths and needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative support for students with emotional, behavioral, or learning challenges
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
  • Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Serve as a resource for parents and guardians, offering guidance on student mental health and development
