Reports To: Project & Application Engineering Manager

This role requires working knowledge of KSB products and processes, industry standards and specifications. The employee will utilize this knowledge to perform pump selections and complete/manage quotations for pumps and auxiliary equipment focusing on the General Industrial (GIN) market. The employee needs to develop close relationships with the KSB Sales Personnel, KSB Factories, and local U.S. suppliers of auxiliary equipment.

• Generate and manage multiple quotations at a fast pace. Candidate should be able to quote direct jobs, and pass‑through support to our KSB sister companies.
• Primary business focuses on General Industrial applications such as water supply systems, cooling circuits, heating systems, heat transfer media, etc.
• Support sales efforts to strategic OEMs, end users, third‑party channel partners, and various service partners.
• Provide technical responses to local KSB personnel, KSB factories, sub‑suppliers, and customers.
• Utilise KSB’s tools to supply pump technical information such as datasheets, speed curves, drawings, etc.
• Interact with vendors for buyouts.
• Understand/translate drawings and basic specifications.
• Compile costing for all equipment and project needs and work with KSB Sales Personnel to create customer quotations.
• Stay abreast of company offerings (products and services), tools and systems.
• Support management with routine reporting on key performance metrics.
• Handle departmental filing and records management.
• Other application engineering responsibilities, as assigned.
