Join our compassionate team as a PRN Caregiver in Richmond, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals in various living environments. Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability.
  • Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols.
  • Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration to promote proper nutrition.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents’ quality of life and mental well‑being.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control standards.
  • Document care activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems accurately and promptly.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and behavior management techniques.
  • Ability to perform vital sign measurements and medication administration competently.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring personal support.
  • Certification or training in first aid is advantageous; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred for community outings or errands.
