As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in fostering independence, safety, and well‑being for those you serve, all while enjoying a dynamic and rewarding work environment.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability.
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols.
- Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration to promote proper nutrition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents’ quality of life and mental well‑being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control standards.
- Document care activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems accurately and promptly.
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to perform vital sign measurements and medication administration competently.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring personal support.
- Certification or training in first aid is advantageous; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred for community outings or errands.
