Westpark Springs is a mental health and addiction treatment center located at 6902 S Peek Road in Richmond, Texas. We provide inpatient and outpatient services for adults, adolescents, and children with psychiatric, substance use, or co‑occurring disorders.

- Provide psychotherapy and counseling therapies including group, individual, and family therapy for patients with psychiatric and substance abuse issues.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
- Actively participate in the treatment planning process and discharge, transition, and after‑care planning.
- Offer family session counseling as therapeutically necessary to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of families and support groups.
- Assist with vital and UDS capture as needed.
- Communicate with clients, families, and outside referral sources in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, documenting all correspondence with patients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate consistently with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff members.
- Support UR functions and authorizations/denials as needed.
- Complete all required paperwork for clients in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
- Complete necessary assessment paperwork, including patient assessment scales, Columbia, psychosocial/LOC assessments, and other assigned assessments.
- Demonstrate crisis intervention and de‑escalation skills and act as a team member during crisis situations to ensure patient safety.
- Administer the code system per company policy and training.
- Assess patients accurately using clinical skills and assist the care coordination department as requested.
- Ensure thorough documentation in accordance with facility standards.
- Maintain confidentiality, complete releases appropriately, and adhere to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations.
- Apply knowledge of clinical regulations including TJC/CARF, Medicaid, and state/federal laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
- Education:
Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field; relevant state licensure required. - Experience:
Prior experience working with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients. - License:
Current, unencumbered clinical license per state of practice guidelines. - Additional Requirements:
CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
