Role Description
This is a part-time (15 hours week), on-site role based in Richmond,TX. The Volunteer Coordinator will oversee all aspects of volunteer engagement, including recruitment, training, and management of volunteers. Responsibilities include coordinating volunteer schedules, facilitating training sessions, and supporting community outreach efforts. The Volunteer Coordinator will strive to build relationships with diverse groups of volunteers and foster a passion for the organization's mission within the local community.
Qualifications
- Experience with Volunteer Training and Volunteer Management
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
- Knowledge and experience with Community Outreach and engagement
- Ability to motivate and lead volunteers effectively
- Passion for community service and commitment to the mission of breaking generational poverty
- Organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience in non-profit environments or volunteer coordination is a plus
