Tender Care Medical Services of Houston is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center (PPECC) providing compassionate, specialized care for medically complex children. Join our dedicated team and help children thrive in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

We are seeking a Director of Nursing, Registered Nurse (DON, RN) for our Richmond location who is compassionate, attentive, and passionate about pediatric healthcare. You will provide hands‑on care, monitor patient health, and supervise structured activities while working alongside licensed nurses and healthcare professionals.

Must meet all requirements set forth in 26 Tex. Admin. Code § 550.309:

• Valid Texas Registered Nurse License
• Certification in Pediatric Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Minimum of two years of management in employment in a pediatric setting caring for a medically or technologically dependent minor (or at least two years of supervision in a pediatric centered intensive healthcare specialty settings)
• Patience and compassion when working with children with behavioral or developmental challenges
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay attentive in a busy healthcare setting
• Strong observation skills and teamwork
