RN Operating Room Circulator Overview

Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Richmond is hiring an Operating Room Nurse (RN) specializing in orthopedic surgery. The position is located at a center with four operating rooms and outpatient procedures in gastrointestinal, colorectal, orthopedic, pain, spine, and podiatry specialties. A ten thousand dollar signing bonus is available.

Position requires weekdays only with one weekend day per month. There are no holidays or on-call duties. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; the schedule may change based on surgical schedule and the flow of the day.

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgical cases. Responsibilities include positioning and prepping the patient, circulating the case, and ensuring all nursing duties are performed during the procedure.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of one year experience working as a Circulator with orthopedics
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
