Customer Service Technician

The City is looking for employees who are committed to public service and possess a willingness to be challenged. The Utility Department is currently recruiting for a  Customer Service Technician .

Under general supervision, the Customer Service Technician works with the crew to repair and maintain the City's water and sewer system. Responsible for field assessment; occasional service connects and disconnects; minor valve and manhole maintenance; cleaning and televising sewer lines; and recommends methods for correcting problems that are the property owner's responsibility.

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.

• Valid Class  C  Texas Driver's License.
• TCEQ Class C distribution is desired or should be obtained within 2 years of employment.
• TCEQ Class II wastewater collection license desired or should be obtained within 4 years of employment.
