Overview

This established low-voltage and life safety integrator serves commercial clients with customized solutions across fire alarm, security, access control, video surveillance, nurse call, audio/visual, and communication systems. Responsibilities
  • Lead crews in the field, ensure installations are completed to code, and support testing, troubleshooting, and system commissioning.
  • Lead and train Junior Technicians and Helpers in the installation of support structures and cable pulling throughout building infrastructure.
  • Install duct detectors, strobes, pull stations, smoke detectors, heat detectors, and perform fire panel terminations.
  • Use multi-meters and testing equipment to perform advanced troubleshooting and testing.
  • Read and interpret building prints to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other trades for seamless project integration.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage inventory and order necessary materials and equipment.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project status, including progress updates and issues encountered.
  • Ensure all installations and modifications meet local and national fire codes and standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and maintaining open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints.
Basic Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Experience using pipe wrenches, cutting, and threading.
