Responsibilities- Ensures compliance with the established athletic facility use policies of the Parks Department.
- Monitors use of facilities and reports any issues to the Parks Director.
- Acts as the primary contact and spokesperson to youth and adult athletic groups looking to utilize Fort Bend County Park facilities.
- Mediates and resolves facility use disputes between teams and coaches regarding reservations.
- Interacts with school districts, higher education, service organizations, community churches, etc. for community support of Parks Programs.
- Solicits and records feedback on field and gymnasium use.
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Sports Management, Public Relations or related field.
- 5 years of job-related experience.
- Good computer and typing skills; strong Windows, Word and Excel skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials and outside agencies.
- Ability to complete assigned projects in a timely manner; strong organizational skills.
$32.26-$40.33 per hour
