Software Engineer (Active TS/SCI Clearance)

Richmond, TX (Onsite)

Rate: $70.00/hr - $95.50/hr (W2 contract only, depends on experience and benefits chosen)

Duration: 12-month contract or contract-to-hire

We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI Clearance in Richmond, TX. In this position, you will develop software in a variety of languages, primarily Java, and will work on many, if not all, phases of the software development life cycle. You will be responsible for providing practical solutions to difficult technical software problems. Projects may involve application software development, testing and verification, data analysis, software tools development, and more.

Teams use Agile Scrum methodology.

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of related experience
• Experience with Java, Python or C++, Git Lab, and Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
• Experience developing software in a team-based development environment, preferably Agile/SCRUM, Dev Sec Ops  and test automation

• Experience in prior leadership roles such as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or equivalent
• Experience working with large, complex software systems and refactoring legacy code
• Experience writing software for and debugging issues in real-time multithreaded software applications
• Experience with Object-oriented software design

• Participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of embedded software, including application, middleware, operating system and supporting tools; developing new work products or enhancing existing applications and systems
• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions
• Participate in internal review of software components and systems
• Coach, review, and delegate work to lower‑level professionals
• Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products
• Operate in a collaborative, SAFe agile environment
