Delivery Drivers

Description:

Delivery drivers deliver pizzas and other food orders. For delivery customers, the driver may be their only contact with and impression of Jet’s Pizza®. The delivery driver delivers products on an established route, collects money from customers, and makes change.

• (i) Must be at least 18 years old.
• (ii) Excellent driving record.
• (iii) Valid driver’s license. Some states require a chauffeur’s license.
• (iv) Car registration up-to-date.
• (v) Proof of car insurance (make sure current at all times). Check to make sure it covers business use of auto.
• (vi) Reasoning ability.
• (vii) Mathematical ability.
• (viii) Language ability.
• (ix) Communication and interpersonal ability.

• (i) Drives vehicle to deliver pizza and other product to customer’s home or place of business.
• (ii) Collects money from customer, makes change, and records transactions on customer receipt.
• (iii) Records sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record.
• (iv) Checks order accuracy.
• (v) Checks product quality and price.
• (vi) Checks delivery customer’s address and location.
• (vii) Listens to and resolves service complaints.
• (viii) Assists the other employees when periods are slow and other duties can be assigned.
• (ix) Have a clean car always (inside and out).
