Part Time Sanitation Specialist

Job Description

Cleaning and disassembling equipment for cleaning and re-assembly, may include general sanitation of plant work areas, production tools and mixing equipment in the Steam Room. Day shift, Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 am to 3 pm.

• Disassemble equipment for cleaning and re-assembly
• Sanitize plant work areas
• Wash tools and equipment brought from food production lines to the Steam Rooms and clean equipment during shift changeovers
• Perform general janitorial tasks such as mopping, sweeping, filling soap and paper towel dispensers, operating auto floor scrubbers throughout the facility
• Other tasks as assigned by supervision
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, chemical dilution and mixing procedures, appropriate wearing of Personal Protective Equipment, follow lockout tag out procedures, and pass all required training for the position within three months of hire date
• Comply with all safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Experience with cleaning or sanitation tasks.

• Ability to grip or grasp pressure cleaning hoses
• Ability to maneuver equipment to cleaning room
• Ability to stand or walk during all four-hour shifts

The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $22.65. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
