Part Time Sanitation Specialist

Cleaning and disassembling equipment for cleaning and re-assembly, may include general sanitation of plant work areas, production tools and mixing equipment in the Steam Room. Day shift, Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 am to 3 pm.

• Disassemble equipment for cleaning and re-assembly, including general sanitation of plant work areas.
• Perform washing of tools and equipment brought from the food production lines to the Steam Rooms and cleaning equipment during shift changeovers.
• Execute general janitorial tasks such as mopping, sweeping, filling soap and paper towel dispensers, operating auto floor scrubbers throughout the facility and other tasks as assigned by supervision.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, chemical dilution and mixing procedures, appropriate wearing of Personal Protective Equipment, lockout/tag‑out procedures and pass all required training for the position within 3 months of hire date.
• Adhere to all safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines.

Must have obtained a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Experience with cleaning or sanitation tasks preferred.

• Ability to grip or grasp pressure cleaning hoses and maneuver equipment to the cleaning room.
• Ability to stand and walk during all four-hour shifts.

The starting rate for this full‑time, hourly position is $22.65. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
