Part-Time Steam Room Attendant 3rd shift

Job Description

Reporting to the N.O. Plant Services shift lead, this position will be responsible for all activities associated with the sanitation of food processing equipment, facility hygiene, and master cleaning assignments. Team members are expected to follow GMPs, chemical dilution and mixing procedures, appropriate wear of PPE, lockout tagout procedures, and pass all required training. The position requires working most weekends and being willing to take unscheduled days at any time throughout the week to support sanitation cleaning schedules.

• Sanitation of food processing equipment in accordance with established SSOPs.
• End of production and end‑of‑week cleaning, equipment changeovers, facility sanitation, and master cleaning assignments.
• Proper mixing and use of chemicals according to label instructions.
• Completion of mandatory fall protection, aerial lift, confined space, and lockout training to maintain good standing.
• Housekeeping tasks including mopping, sweeping, filling soap and paper‑towel dispensers, operating auto floor scrubbers, and other tasks assigned by the Plant Services Supervisor or N.O. Lead.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Preferred to have production line manufacturing experience or food service and food handling experience.

The starting rate for this full‑time hourly position is $20.25. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
