Forklift Operator

Job will include setting up, loading, unloading, or warehousing of product or supplies with a forklift. Swing Shift

• Operate a forklift in narrow aisles and safely take materials to and retrieve materials from various production equipment locations.
• May also include operation of a pallet jack.
• Maintain warehouse and transaction accuracy as well as production reporting and inventories of both product and supplies.
• Learn SAP and use SAP for data entry on forklift computer terminals, handhelds and desktop computers.
• Keep work areas neat, clean and orderly; assist in collecting quality control samples and other clerical duties or tasks as assigned by supervision.
• Perform safety inspections of forklift before use and fill out the safety inspection form on each shift.
• Must qualify as a forklift operator by passing a medical exam, written and practical exams.
• Repetitious loading and unloading of ingredients weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of standard safety and operation procedures for lift trucks.
• May be assigned to work at alternate facility locations in North Logan or Logan or to work Saturday or Sunday; may be required to work other shifts as assigned.
• Maintain a clean work environment at warehouse facilities; may include janitorial duties (sweeping, mopping).
• Must comply with all site and equipment safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines.

PM Shift

  EDUCATION REQUIRED:
  
  High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: preferred to have forklift operation experience.

The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $22.65.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
