Part‑Time Sanitation Worker – weekends

GRADE/LEVEL:
Hourly

Cleaning production tools and mixing equipment in the Steam Room on the graveyard shift. The normal schedule is 10:30pm Friday night to 7:00am Saturday, and 10:30pm Saturday night to 7am Sunday.

• Disassemble equipment for cleaning and re‑assembly.
• Sanitize plant work areas.
• Wash tools and equipment brought from the food production lines to the Steam Rooms and clean equipment during shift changeovers.
• Perform general janitorial tasks such as mopping, sweeping, filling soap and paper towel dispensers, operating auto floor scrubbers throughout the facility, and other tasks as assigned by supervision.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, chemical dilution and mixing procedures, appropriate wearing of Personal Protective Equipment, lockout‑tag‑out procedures, and pass all required training for the position within 3 months of hire date.
• Comply with all safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines.

Must have obtained high school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Experience with cleaning or sanitation tasks preferred.

• Ability to grip and exert pressure on cleaning hoses.
• Maneuver equipment to the cleaning room.
• Stand and walk during the entire four‑hour shift.

Base pay: $22.65 per hour. Base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
