HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring reliable plant operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems will help minimize downtime, support continuous production, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Working on the night shift, you will provide hands‑on technical support to keep the facility running at peak performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

WHAT

YOU WILL DO…
  • Support production operations by maintaining equipment and responding to mechanical and electrical issues throughout the facility.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing machinery to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Monitor equipment performance and proactively identify opportunities to prevent failures and improve reliability.
  • Provide mechanical and electrical support during assigned shifts.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Allen Bradley PLC‑controlled equipment.
  • Utilize knowledge of electrical systems, ladder logic, and programmable controls to diagnose operational issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities on production and facility equipment.
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Follow all plant safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and quality standards.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment performance, uptime, and maintenance processes.
  • Work overtime, weekends, and additional hours as required to support business needs.
  • Successfully complete required written and practical assessments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English to safely and effectively perform job responsibilities.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment in a fast‑paced production environment.
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ability to work a 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM night shift schedule.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Ability to successfully complete required written and practical testing.

  • Associate degree in Maintenance Mechanics or a related technical field.
  • Previous Maintenance Mechanic experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Training or experience with industrial electrical systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLC‑controlled equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Allen Bradley controllers.
