Accounting Administrative Specialist
Full‑time staff position located at the Glenns campus. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this role processes routine invoices for local funds and federal checks, reconciles financial records, processes purchases using a small charge card, assists end‑users with travel reimbursements, clears invoices for payment processing, monitors budget balances, makes routine account adjustments, identifies, tags, records, and updates all college inventory records (Equipment Trust Funds), processes manual check requests, and completes other duties as assigned.

- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
- May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Work experience in or knowledge of accounting, accounts payable, procurement, and inventory.
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe.
- Ability to learn to make adjustments to financial data.
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of cash management principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in People Soft (Oracle) or other financial applications.
- Experience with State computer applications and systems.
Must be able to travel between campuses; use of a state vehicle is authorized. No supervisory responsibilities.
