Interim & Fractional Senior Staff Accountant Consultants

Fahrenheit Advisors is seeking experienced Senior Staff Accountant consultants for project‑based interim and fractional engagements. What You’ll Do:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
• Record, review, and properly classify financial transactions
• Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
• Support cash reporting and account activity tracking
• Help document and improve accounting processes and procedures
• Perform analytical reviews to identify discrepancies or trends
• Assist with audit, tax, and regulatory support
• Support accounting integrations related to system changes or acquisitions
• Escalate process gaps or control issues with recommended improvements

What We’re Looking For:

• 5–7 years of hands‑on accounting experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Experience supporting close processes in fast‑paced environments
• Interest in consulting as a long‑term career, not short‑term or supplemental work
• Ability to support multiple clients or engagements over time
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive work style
• Ability to work on‑site with clients as needed

• Fractional engagements involve providing ongoing, part‑time accounting support over a longer period, allowing clients to access experienced accounting resources without adding full‑time headcount. These engagements often include recurring close support, transaction processing, reconciliations, and process improvement work.
