Job responsibilities include:
  • Lead client audit, tax, and/or advisory engagements
  • Plan and execute audit, review, or tax engagements, including managing deadlines and budgets
  • Supervise staff while ensuring technical compliance and timely service of delivery
  • Coach teams, identifying risk and managing project budgets
  • Manage client relationships, acting as the primary contact, managing expectations, and providing advice on accounting and business issues
  • Participate in special projects as necessary
  • Staff training and development
    -providing team leadership by mentoring, supervising and communicating feedback to senior and staff accountants
  • Support senior mgmt. in pitching for new business and expanding existing client relationships
Skills:

Experience:
  • 5 years of relevant tax experience
  • 2 years of reviewing tax returns
  • CPA, EA or CPA eligible
  • Industry experience in one of the firm's specializations a plus! (Real Estate, Construction, Financial Services, High Net Worth Individuals, or Entrepreneurial Services)

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

Operates in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels, e.g. computers, printer, light traffic. Use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers). Long periods of sitting/standing at desk for computer work. Exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects.
