PositionSenior Accountant, reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting and Finance.
Responsibilities- Record capital assets and verify expenditures in accordance with GAAP, Federal Reserve policies, and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and reconcile accounting and fixed asset ledgers.
- Prepare, review, and analyze complex accounting records, financial statements, and large‑scale financial activities.
- Interpret contract language to determine appropriate accounting treatment of transactions per GAAP and FRB guidelines.
- Analyze business operations, trends, and commitments to project future outcomes.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies and irregularities, implementing solutions as appropriate.
- Clarify, implement, and document procedures (e.g., labor capitalization, cloud‑transition costs, software accounting).
- Provide guidance and direction to team members, partners, and customers on accounting issues.
- Lead project assignments requiring planning, research, and analysis.
- Investigate a broad spectrum of accounting issues, providing explanations of financial performance and complex reports, and coordinate quarterly and/or annual reporting efforts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5–9+ years of relevant work experience with GAAP.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong organizational and detail‑oriented skills with high data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving ability appropriate for moderate complexity issues.
- Experience with IT accounting, software development, and technology project considerations.
Competitive total compensation in the range $80,400‑$110,550 annually.
