Position Title: Accounting Coordinator
Wage: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6:00 am-2:30 pm
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support daily accounting and administrative functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall accounting department with reporting and data entry tasks.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with numbers, deadlines, and multiple priorities.
Responsibilities- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems (digital and physical).
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Enter financial data into accounting systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Support payroll and expense reporting processes as required.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding billing and payment issues.
- Assist with reporting and general administrative tasks for the accounting department.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (AP/AR, reconciliations, invoicing).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems a plus.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Exposure to inventory‑based accounting processes preferred.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
