The Country Club of Virginia is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role is responsible for reviewing, auditing, and posting daily financial activity from multiple Club outlets while serving as a key liaison between outlet managers and the Accounting Department.

Key Responsibilities- Review, edit, and post daily transactions from all Club outlets
- Enter miscellaneous tickets and supporting documentation
- Review banquet invoices and prepare monthly reports
- Research discrepancies and work with outlet managers to prevent recurring errors
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
- Review and submit weekly tip and commission information to Human Resources
- Maintain organized ticket, invoice, and reporting files
- Assist with member billing inquiries during peak periods
- Provide support and backup coverage for Accounts Receivable functions as needed
- Collaborate with fellow Accounting team members on special projects and departmental initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1-2 years of accounting or office experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with 10-key data entry
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Deliver exceptional service to members, guests, and fellow employees

Schedule is Full-Time (on-site) Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, availability to work one or two weekends/Holidays per year is required. The office is shared with the A/R Coordinator and Specialist.
