POSITION OVERVIEW
The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial operations for a manufacturing facility, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with GAAP. This hands‑on leadership role will own budgeting, forecasting, inventory accounting, standard costing, and ERP optimization while partnering closely with operations and executive leadership to improve financial performance. - Lead all accounting and financial operations, including monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Oversee manufacturing accounting functions with a strong focus on standard costing, inventory accounting, and cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, multi‑state sales tax requirements, and financial policies.
- Partner with operations and executive leadership to improve profitability, reporting, and overall business performance.
- Drive ERP optimization, process improvements, and operational efficiencies across the accounting function.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while fostering a collaborative, high‑performing culture.
- Demonstrated experience leading accounting and finance functions within a manufacturing environment utilizing standard costing.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory accounting, and internal controls.
- Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and partner effectively with operational leadership.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and team leadership skills.
- $140,000-$150,000 annual salary.
